Year 3 & 4 Clay Models

Years 3 & 4, as part of their Topic of Crime and Punishment, designed and created models, which were representations of punishments used throughout the years in Britain - they made things such as handcuffs, stocks and even gory chopped off hands! In groups, children used different cutters and stencils to help them create their clay model. Once it was complete, the children placed their model on a timeline, showing where in history their punishment was used.
