School Closure & Key Worker Provision
School closure and Key Worker Provision
With effect from Wednesday 6th January 2021, pupils (except for key workers and others who meet the vulnerable criteria) are asked to remain at home and commence remote learning (via dojo and Teams or request a paper pack) with immediate effect. School will re-open for all pupils on Monday 8th March.
The teachers and support staff will have been in contact with you to share logins and other information required to allow yourselves and pupils to access the online materials. Staff will be keeping in very regular contact and supporting with any issues that may arise.
The Trust have created some how to videos for parents on accessing the platform at home. They are on the main GAT website.
We are currently awaiting further information from the Trust and Government regarding vouchers for pupils who are eligible for free school meals and not attending school. We will contact you as soon as we have details.
Key Worker and Vulnerable Pupil Provision
For those pupils who have been allocated a place in the provision, we are aiming to keep things as normal as possible.
- The usual allocated entrances and start/finishes times will be the same
- Pupils will be expected to wear full school uniform (PE kit on allocated PE days and Forest school kit on Forest school days)
- Pupils may bring packed lunches or order a hot dinner from school
- Pupils may bring a water bottle
We thank you for your patience and continued support at this challenging time.
